“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you.” II Timothy 1:6
In less than a month women across Nebraska will be traveling to Covenant Cedars for our annual fall retreat. *The planning committee ask that you send your registration by Sept. 1st to:
Kathy Hennings, 54776 Hwy 59, Wausa, NE 68786
We are striving to provide a time which will be refreshing, informative and relaxing for women of ALL AGES!
A couple of additions and changes have been made by the planning committee:
Our SILENT AUCTION this retreat is:
Bags and/or Purses (instead of baskets) which can be closed or covered with gift tissue. Each bag/purses is to be filled with items of YOUR choice. A person will be bidding on a bag or purses without knowing what is inside of it. A couple of examples: a school bag filled with items for school, purses filled with items you might have in the car keep youngsters busy. The planning committee is asking each church to donate 2 or 3 or more bags/purses to wards this fund raiser. All funds will be given to Covenant Cedars to go towards the cost of Storm Shelters which are their next projects.
We want to encourage women of all ages to join us at Cedars and bring a friend or two.

The 5 women from FCC who attended Triennial made it back yesterday! They had a wonderful time growing closer together with each other and Christ, being challenged by speakers and experiences, worshiping God, and connecting with other women from our denomination.
