Denominational Ministries
Break the Chains 2010: Hope and Restoration for Freed Slaves - the third and final emphasis on modern-day slavery focuses on human trafficking in North America (NA). New Day for Children is a faith-based organization developing a program and facility to provide hope and security for girls caught in the desperation of sex trafficking. Women Ministries will designate donations from the 3rd year of “Break the Chains” to help launch this project.
Advocacy for Victims of Abuse (AVA) - The AVA initiative, begun in 2004, was created to provide resources to bring healing to victims of abuse, equip the church to minister to victims of abuse, and promote preventative measures to combat abuse. The AVA site offers numerous resources, in both English and Spanish, as well as opportunities to serve in this ministry.
Educate the Girls - a partnership promoting Congolese girls’ education.
